How the nanny job works

Working as a nanny is both fun and flexible; you choose which assignments you want and when you want to work. As a nanny, you help one or more families in your area with looking after their children. This can involve everything from picking up children from preschool/school and spending a fun hour in the playground to having snacks or bedtime routines. The most important thing is that it is fun and safe for the children, the parents, and you!

About the family

You will receive more information about this specific family during your interview, but here are some good things to know:

• Number of children: 1
• Age: 4 years old
• Days per week they need help: 1–2 times per week
• Times: Mostly pickup from preschool and sometimes in the evenings and weekends (each shift is always at least 3 hours)

This part-time job is perfect for you if:

• You are responsible and playful with a genuine commitment to children
• You have experience independently looking after one or more children (0–6 years)
• You can work flexibly on weekdays and weekends as a nanny
